Senior Proposal Writer, Federal Government -- Remote/ Telecommute
TTEC is currently searching for a detailed-oriented, strategic thinker to support our growing Federal Government business within TTEC Digital. Working with our dynamic Sales Team, the position will support the development of sales proposals and presentations used by sales leaders in pursuit of new business with a focus on the Government sector. Responsibilities include reviewing requests for proposals (RFPs); developing the proposal plan and outline; scheduling meetings and touchpoints; reviewing proposal draft and final versions for responsiveness to RFP, thoroughness, accuracy, quality and effective design and layout.
The Proposal Consultant will also ensure production of high quality proposal products and the delivery of all proposal materials to their respective destination. To be successful, the Proposal Consultant will leverage pre-existing materials and develop content that shows we understand program challenges and goals, that our solution is aligned with the objectives, that our differentiators are made clear, and we are persuasive in explaining why the client should select us as their solution provider.

What You'll Be Doing:
Lead qualification review of all new RFx opportunities with a focus on government opportunities; includes scheduling opportunity reviews, and tracking all opportunities statistics such as approval rate, win/loss ratio, industry, technology mix, etc.
Lead the proposal team to meet all schedules and deadlines
Maintain close working relationships with Solution Engineers and Sales Business Developers - particular the Fed and Government team - to generate proposals and presentations, including document preparation, team coordination, writing, editing, proofreading, overall quality control and deadline adherence
Assess the solicitation, resource requirements, and other proposal elements to determine proposal resource needs and schedules for the specific assigned opportunity
Help define win strategies, themes, discriminators, key messages, and other pertinent proposal content
Use proposal automation software to generate proposal drafts, while working closely with the sales support team to customize proposals based on client needs and stated objectives.
Manage and communicate the proposal development and production schedules, keeping the team and management informed of changes as they occur.
Lead all aspects of proposal phases which include, but are not limited to: kickoff meetings, internal proposal team meetings and reviews
Work with subject matter experts to ensure the achievement of meeting content goals and deadlines and identifying and taking corrective action when needed to obtain desired outcomes
Develop and follow procedures to ensure proposals conform to TTEC's style guide in concert with the marketing team.
Act as TTEC's Content Manager performing regularly scheduled updates to repositories of re-usable proposal content, case studies, experience papers, and white papers.
Own responsibility for working on several tools and pieces of documentation at once, under pressure, and to tight deadlines.
Work with Solution Engineers to prepare physical presentation materials for clients (via CD, USB flash drive, hard copies for mailing).
What Skills You'll Need:
8 years of sales proposal writing or marketing experience in a business environment
8 years of experience with PC utilization and an understanding of business writing
5 years demonstrated hands on full life cycle proposal development experience in support of federal government contracting
Proficiency and advanced skills in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
Excellent writing, proofing, and grammar skills
BA/BS Degree from an accredited school or 3-5 years equivalent work experience
Excellent communication skills across a variety of media
Ability to distill and synthesize complex information into cohesive, accurate, and succinct writing
Excellent research skills
Excellent time management skills
Subject matter expertise in customer contact center solutions and/or customer experience consulting
Knowledge of proposal management software (e.g., Sant, Kadiant, Qvidian, SAVO, PMAPS, Privia, etc.)
Experience producing/editing sales graphics, including business cases and ROI models
Experience with leading business-to-business communications
Ability to effectively lead diverse teams of senior and junior stakeholders
APMP Foundation-Level (or higher) Certification
