This role will focus on helping CVS Health identify and implement a portfolio of initiatives to achieve its mission of helping patients on their path to better health. You will work with a high-energy team that is motivated by the opportunity to drive better health outcomes for our patients and realize financial results for CVS Health. This role is expected to provide clinical and business expertise to projects, utilizing clinical background and healthcare project management experience. You will ensure clinical and operational touch points are considered and embedded in the execution of initiatives. The person in this role will be expected to influence all levels of management and functional areas, including but not limited to, Clinical Quality, Operations, Internal Operation Support, Information Technology, Revenue Cycle, Finance, Field Operations, and New Products and Services, as well as manage across MinuteClinic, CVS Health, vendor relationships and external partners.

Your typical day here could include:

-Participating in the diagnosis, solution development, and planning of a new strategic product or service that incorporate all of the company’s assets and delivery methods
- Supporting the business by recommending appropriate actions, strategies and/or alternatives to meet business needs.
-Developing and implementing strategic project plan to achieve business goals
- Developing and presenting the business case to support the new strategic product or service, to senior leaders.
- Scoping, planning, and performing a quantitative analysis that will yield critical answers to the questions at hand - or providing feedback on the analysis completed
- Reaching out to clinical field leaders to set up a pilot test for a new idea in a set of clinics
- Brainstorming and iterating with your colleagues to build out a creative approach for a new program or service design
- Engaging partners from across the organization to implement a new program and drive results
- Meeting with internal or external subject-matter experts to learn more about the implications of a new regulation or new research findings
- Bringing clinical expertise to project teams supporting strategic initiatives
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet program deliverables
- Developing progress reports, proposals, IT requirements documentation, and presentations as needed for defined projects.
- Supporting the education team in the development of clinical and operational content for educational programs and initiatives to be delivered to MinuteClinic providers and other members of the healthcare team
- Serving as a subject matter expert on clinical excellence and operational processes
- Establishing and maintaining strong virtual relationships with key stakeholders across functional and enterprise units
- Reviewing and understanding clinical and operational data and key performance metrics, identifying strategies, and implementing timely and effective action plans to achieve clinical excellence at all times
- Work in partnership with internal operations and other stakeholder to facilitate effective written and verbal communication with field teams and customer service support teams
- Monitoring clinical quality and safety data for the purpose of identifying training and knowledge needs and assessing effectiveness of the organizational training and education programs.
- Implementing, evaluating and providing ongoing continuous quality improvement support

Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant. Board Certified NP or PA with active license.

- 3 to 5 years of experience in a role providing clinical education or strategic clinical program design/development/implementation/management.

- Ability to travel up to 20%
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience with clinic operations is preferred.

- A highly developed ability to manage, develop, and mentor team members to successfully evaluate complex business opportunities

- Ability to communicate effectively with senior internal and external leadership.

- Must demonstrate strong organizational skills, as well as strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Strong analytical and reporting skills.

- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office products.

- Ability to travel as needed.

- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, geographically-dispersed organization, while managing projects and contributing as team member.

- Ability to inspire a culture of learning through utilization of adult principles of education demonstrating expertise as an educator, consultant, facilitator change agent and leader is essential.
