Program Coordination and Facilitation
**Implements plans for recruitment and retention of participants within the family and community programs **Coordinates, prepares, and facilitates research based curriculum as assigned with specific attention to prevention programming with Chandler families **Completes all documentation in a timely and detailed manner, including session notes and participant sign in sheets, incentive logs, curriculum/lesson plans, agendas, facilitator assessments, and other documentation/reports as required by the Family and Community Programs Manager **Tracks attendance and incentive criteria for family and community programming **Administers evaluation instruments and tools as scheduled, collecting, tracking and monitoring progress toward program outcomes, including administration of pre/post testing and reporting to the Family and Community Programs Manager on progress of programs **Ensures all facilitated programs and strategies are culturally competent and age appropriate **Utilizes planning time effectively for delivery of family and community programming **Maintains clean and clutter free work spaces, including regular inventory, maintenance, and ordering of program supplies **Participates in the implementation of the annual needs assessment Program Support **Creates, prepares for and gathers materials for programs within the Family and Community domains **Develops and implements trainings related to family and community capacity building and information sharing **Plans, coordinates, and implements program events for family and community programs **Plans, coordinates and implements internal and external family/community program events in collaboration with the Family and Community Programs Manager **Actively seeks out events and program opportunities for families and community within the scope of program content/goals **Creates and prepares materials for the Coalition meetings, including session notes, participant sign in sheets, agendas, facilitator assessments, and other documentation/reports as required by the Family and Community Programs Manager **Coordinates and facilitates orientation to new Coalition members and engages in community development strategies. Community Partnerships and Collaborations **Maintains partnerships with collaborating organizations to support programmatic goals and activities **Collaborates with partners for participant recruitment **Interacts with personnel of partner organizations in a professional manner in regard to matters affecting programmatic goals and activities as assigned. General Responsibilities **Participates in organizational committees as assigned by the Family and Community Programs Manager, documenting committee progress and participation for organizational records. **Monitors division expenditures in accordance with budget allocations **Promotes member retention through positive, professional relations with youth, parents and community members **Clearly and accurately represents and communicates division needs and activities across the agency through collaboration. **Serves as a positive role model among ICAN youth, parents, volunteers, and community members, upholding ICAN values and guidelines/rules accordingly **Attends community meetings relevant to responsibility areas and organizational priorities as assigned and/or requested. **Manages maintenance of facilities and vehicles as used by department. **Promotes and upholds ICAN’s mission, serving as an ambassador to the organization. **Provides prompt, courteous, and professional internal and external customer service skills, including responding to internal and external communications promptly and attentively. **Attends to closing procedures and maintenance of ICAN facilities, including ensuring administrative and program space is clean, without clutter, and that supplies are stored after use **Other duties and responsibilities as seemed necessary by organizational leadership. **Provides transportation as scheduled and/or requested Skills / Requirements
**Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in human service or related field or two years experience in program planning, facilitation, implementation, and evaluation
**Minimum of 21 years old and valid AZ driver’s license **Ability to work with youth and families from widely diverse backgrounds **Effective communication and professional with multiple audiences **Knowledge of and/or experience in alcohol, tobacco, and other drug prevention programs **Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred ICAN Preview
