Job: Maintenance Technician

East Valley multi-family apartment community is seeking and experienced Maintenance Technician All applicants must take pride in the environment that they control, be detail oriented and hard working. A positive attitude with a smile is a must, due to the fact that this role is a front line position to our residents.

DUTIES:
Perform maintenance, as required, to have apartments in move-in condition on a timely basis.
Perform work orders as required.
Electrical, painting, light carpentry, HVAC, Fire Sprinklers and overall general maintenance of & upkeep of apartments.
Assist in maintaining all common grounds as required.
Assist in maintaining pool and hot tub and all other property amenities as required.
Assist Maintenance Supervisor in the performance of all maintenance as required in conjunction with the request of the Property Manager.
Abide by all company policies and procedures as well as community policies applicable to your particular property.
Assist with on call duties, Turn-Overs, move-ins, move-outs.
Maintenance of common area amenities in clean and good condition
Maintain overall curb appeal of community by assisting in the necessary repairs and clean-up.
Complete work orders within 2 business days in a prompt and efficient manner and submit to Maintenance Supervisor at the end of each day.
On call for emergencies at night or on weekends as directed.
Any other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the company.
Follow and adhere to Fair housing and resident statements.

Requirements and Skills:

* Ability to perform daily maintenance of all common areas,
maintain pool area, pool and spa, prepare apartments for move-in; i.e., wall
repair, paint, clean and appliance repair in a timely manner.

* This position requires on call availability on a rotating schedule for
nights, weekends and holidays.

* HVAC certification required.
