Job: School Bus Driver

Vista Groves Preparatory School is looking for an energetic and reliable part time bus driver to work in an exciting fast paced environment. School Bus Driver will operate a bus that will transport students on daily routes and to special evening destinations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the School Bus Driver:

Drives bus on regular route and special assignments
Checks the bus daily to assure proper systems are functioning
Monitors and maintains discipline on the bus at all times
Reports any defects or non-operational findings of vehicles to the school authority
Adheres to all safety rules, regulations, district policies and state laws pertaining to the operation of school buses and district vehicles
Other Duties May Be Assigned




Other Skills and Abilities needed for the School Bus Driver:

Skill in operating a school bus
Knowledge of rules and established procedures in operation of a school bus
Ability to read directions and write reports
Supervises students while they are being transported

A valid Arizona Class B Drivers License with passenger endorsement
Valid First Aid and CPR Card
A school bus driver Certificate issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety
Possession of State of Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card, required
